Luisa Cremonese Chats Virtually with Howard Zehr About UNHCR Practicum

Luisa Cremonese, Sr. Coordinator for Community Development Community Development, Gender Equality and Children Section at UNHCR discusses expectations for my practicum for Spring 2009. I'm thrilled to be working with Luisa and my entire section. We have similar outlooks, goals and speak the same language around equality and diversity :).

What a wonderful way to receive the practicum material, and to meet you Luisa. It felt like you were talking to me; I kept thinking that we were on skype and that I should reply! I'll have to admit that I'm envious - I wish I could be there and be part of the project!

I agree completely with Luisa Cremonese that using means other then print media in sending across messages on issues like gender equality is effective. Many people would find an issue interesting but could be too tired or stressed out to make time to enjoy reading.
